Vintage 1960s Frigidaire Flair double oven range – the “Bewitched” stove. Introduced in 1962 when Frigidaire was part of General Motors, the Flair was a design landmark: the cooktop burners roll out like a drawer and hide away when not in use, while the double ovens sit at counter height with flip-up doors. It was designed by Jayne Van Alstyne, one of GM’s famed Damsels of Design. Eye-level double ovens with unique flip-up doors (full-size oven + smaller oven). Slide-out cooktop with burners that roll in and out like a drawer. Distinctive chrome/stainless trim with white base cabinet doors. Period control panel with clock/timer. A true mid-century kitchen centerpiece. It may need service or restoration before use. Please study all photos – they are part of the description.
