A beautiful workhorse of a stove, the O’Keefe and Merritt Model 600-8 range came with our house, used by the family that lived there from 1924 until last year. With our recent kitchen remodel unfortunately it no longer fits. All you need to do is move the lever to the setting you wish. There are notches on the grillevator assembly that allow you to lock in your setting. With the grillevator system you do not need to remove the broiler pan to adjust your food closer or farther from the flame.
