The box of this item was exposed to mold, but it has been thoroughly treated with Lysol disinfectant. It was also cleaned with antibacterial spray. The item inside was always stored inside the box in garages. One new older (legacy) electric cooktop (rangetop). This and other stoves listed for sale are new-in-box, but have been opened for inspection/ pictures. These range-tops have 2 slots, and each slot is designed to accept various modules with different cooking surfaces such as griddle, coil burner, grill…. [see pics 18-24 for an example of a removable module]. The most common module (the 2- burner coil top), [pics 18-24] can be bought SEPARATELY from this range top. Modules that fit in here include, but are not limited to. Grill module RCK-891 or RCK891 these are legacy numbers… Whirlpool changes their model number for the same product as time goes on. Each stove comes with 2 empty slots, and 1 slot comes already filled by Whirlpool with a module, leaving the other slot empty. In pictures 18 -24 is a module that is NOT included -it may still be for sale in one of our other auctions. It is an example of what can be installed in the open slot on the right of the stove top. If you want a pretty good idea of what the whole stove tope looks like with 2 grill modules just imagine the whole top- one continuous grill about 22 inches wide. The slot (space) where 1 removable module can be installed on the right using NO tools-simply by plugging it in.
