Up for sale is an old Perfection number 500 burner for kerosene heaters. It is in great working condition. As pictured with an original cotton wick that appears to be a new old stock wick that has never been used. It is ready to fill with kerosene and use once the wick has had time to soak. This vintage Perfection heater is complete and in very good cosmetic condition. Clean and shiny with good glass globe. Chrome trim ring is nice. Good font that does not leak. This one is clean and really nice. Fully tested and working as it should. A new wick is installed. Fits almost all models of Perfection Kerosene heaters.
The metal parts were stripped down to bare metal by zinc shot blasting. Zinc provides some rust protection. Next high temperature primer and high temperature black finish paint were applied. No cracks in the Pyrex glass globe. Finally a new wick was installed. Ready to go and very easy to use. Just add kerosene and light it up.
