All furnaces have been completely factory refurbished; inside out, top to bottom! ALL refurbished LOOK LIKE NEW and all furnaces have 100% new tin and insulation! New grates, both new doors, door seals on firebox and ash receptacle doors! A built-in domestic hot water heat exchanger! All have a thermostat and chimney cap! All have TWO sets of ports to heat an additional building. Pumps supplied at cost according to your needs/distance/elevation change. 75 CFM forced-air induction air blower included. And auto damper, which saves a lot of wood! Please allow 2 weeks for completion because we completely refurbish each furnace for you, the customer; custom rebuilt with your choice of available colors. All furnaces have been updated with the new hot water coil cover which puts the water level at the very top of the water jacket! No separate domestic Hot Water plate or side-arm heat exchanger is needed Nor is a tempering or mixing valve needed, to avoid scalding water!! You also get a thermostat to control the water temperature in the furnace, automatically – along with a 75 CFM induction blower fan, in the back, to feed air to the bottom of the fire, like a blacksmith’s forge. The automatic damper is a simple solenoid activated damper; that opens and closes the door on the side of the fan, so instead of it being a manual adjustment, it will open and close that door 100%, which will stop the air from drafting into the firebox when the fan turns off. According to our customers, this saves a tremendous amount of wood and gives you better temperature control in the furnace. There aren’t any circuit boards to fail or fancy electronics to give any problem! No proprietary parts; you DON’T have to come to us to get any replacement part. Our boilers are so strong that we can hang and move them with the chimney because it is 1/4″ thick steel welded into our super strong ROUND 3/8″ THICK firebox. The chimney drops down into the firebox trapping the heat in the firebox to heat the water and not the outside air – but more importantly, it traps the gases from the wood in the huge secondary burn chamber that we created in the top of the firebox. As soon as there is a flame, all of the gases get burnt, extracting that much more energy from your wood that would otherwise be wasted!
