An antique Buck’s Junior 2 cast iron stove, very heavy. Mostly complete and missing some of the factory pieces, also one of the circular burner covers was replaced with a plastic piece. Normal wear and patina to cast iron, one rear leg is loose although the stove will stand with it in place. The stove is a Bucks Jr. #4 which was made by the Wings & Parsons MFG. And i found a very old newspaper clipping inside the cast iron kettle which i included a picture of with the other photos. THIS STOVE IS HUGE!! MUCH LARGER AND HEAVIER THAN THE OTHERS LISTED HERE. PLEASE WRITE IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR NEED MORE PICTURES BECAUSE IT ONLY PERMITTED 12. But most of these ended up in a smale childs room as a toy being they were so realistic. The stove actually takes coal or wood and works and has small versions of all the kettles and skilletts which are very heavy and well made also. The two are numbered Consecutively , The Coal Bucket is Numbered 314 and the Kettle is 315. Exceptionally RARE, LARGE, and HEAVY cast iron toy stove from my personal collection…. “BUCK’S JUNIOR 2″ manufactured by Buck’s Stove & Range Company of St. 2 was the largest and most deluxe of this series of stoves…. Heavy and massive stove measures 22″ wide (from hearth shelf to water reservoir), 22 3/4″ tall to the tip of the back-piece/pipe cover, 13 3/4″ tall to the stovetop, with the stovetop measuring 18 1/2 wide” by 11 deep…. Excellent, complete, clean, collection-ready condition…. Nickel plating and black finish are either original or the result a tasteful restoration…. One of the two tabs on the water reservoir cover is missing (11th photo) and there is a small chip of iron missing off the top of one of the feet (last photo)… All doors open and close as they should….
