Antique 1857 The PET Salesman’s Sample Cast Iron Stove by Young & Bro. Used condition with expected wear. The stove is free of cracks or hairlines. Salesman Sample Parlor Stove “The Pet” Young & Brothers Albany, NY. This would have been used in a showroom to show the features of the stove. The body is cast iron with the designation “Pat’d 1857″ which likely applies to the US Design patent. It stands just over 10 inches and measures 7 1/2″ across the feet in front and 5″ side feet. Weight unpacked is 7 pounds 3 ounces. It is in very good condition with no cracks or chips or breaks.
