Vintage Coleman Model 2D Stove original finish with corrugated rack 1928 – 1931. Here is a Vintage Coleman Model 2D Stove with oven, Burner heat deflector and corrugated oven rack. These 2D’s were produced between 1928 and 1931. The 2 in the model number stands for Coleman’s 2nd generation od stoves. The “D” stands for DELUXE. What makes it a deluxe is the locking Nickle Plated legs/stands. Original paint is about 50% gone with balance being surface rust. BOTH BURNERS HAVE HAIRLINE CRACKS AS WAS TYPICAL FOR THESE STOVES, BURNERS WILL STILL WORK FINE. There are remnants of 2 pieces of duct tape on the lid. Coleman was stenciled in gold paint on the fuel tank but is now long gone. Has the corrugated sheet metal steel oven grate that fits in to the oven slots. Has the folding wire carry handle, the nickle swinging legs work properly and are solid. The internal pump slides easy but needs a cork gasket. The fuel valve key is connected with a chain, the fuel valve and auxiliary fuel valve both turn easy. The oven and stove looks complete to me. The oven door swings open easy. A nice piece of Coleman history. THIS STOVE WAS NOT TESTED BUT i WOULD GUESS IT TO BE A PERFECT UNIT TO RESTORE.
