ANTIQUE KENTON GAS STOVE. Rare 1915 toy Kenton Hardware Co. It measures 10″ tall x 7″ wide x 5 deep. Made of cast iron and metal. This miniature stove has an oven and a stovetop that actually burned gas. Children back then could use a toy like this to cook over an open flame, mimicking the stoves their mothers used at the time. Safety standards have changed quite a bit since then. The stove is in great shape for its age of 100 years. Oven door opens and closes with a latch. Reads SUPERIOR on front of oven door. Marked KENTON BRAND USA on back of the top bonnet piece. On the bottom, it reads PAT’D NOV 9, 1915. Comes with the copper pot shown in photo.
