Gasoline Single Burner Field Stove. Model 1950, made in 1982 (box is marked March 1984) by the State Machine Products Co. Of Dry Ridge, KY. The stove has been removed from its box perhaps a half dozen times over the years. Also known as a squad stove. Used as an outdoor field cooking unit. Uses leaded gasoline or white fuel. Designed to consume 4 ounces of fuel per hour. 5500 BTUs per hour. Weight of stove is 2.5-pounds. SMP made these stoves from 1979 to 1991. The company is now defunct. Cannot guarantee that it works because it is, in fact, 40 years old & gaskets do age. It has never had fuel in it & no attempt has been made to fire it up.
