Very rare, collectors edition for sure. 5-6 Man Mountainsmith Tipi made by Patrick Smith before starting Kifaru International. Bigger than a 4 man, bit smaller than a 6 man… For fun I put 4 sleeping pads and gear around the stove in the middle and there was still plenty of room. My measurements have it at 178″ door to opposite door, by 145″ window to opposite window, and is 80 high. I placed lines on all major tie-outs that are adjustable so can be tight to the ground or raised up as shown for nice weather. Also comes with the classic Kifaru Box Stove, measuring 11x7x7.5 Inches. Comes complete as shown with all original parts, poles and bags, plus paperwork. Kifaru recommends Seam-sealing, I never did, and although not shown I will include a brand-new tube of sealant. Tent is in great shape with under 10 nights total. Stove itself was set-up to burn in once, and for the pictures, that’s it, gloves haven’t even been used. Amazing piece, beautiful to look at and the details are abundant. Has two windows on either side for ventilation, protected with mosquito netting, and can be closed up in severe weather. 2 Doors and entrances for opening up in nice weather, shifting entrances as wind changes direction, and so that partners don’t have to climb over each other to get out at night. The doors also feature a system to pull back the 3 way zipper and create nice openings creating even more ventilation. The storage bag is roomy, nothing worse than fighting a big wet tent to get in the bag when you are out in nasty weather! Cinches down with 2 nice buckles and metal straps. Stove folds completely down into it’s own tough carrying case, and is made to open up in the snow so you can assemble without losing anything. Everything handmade in Colorado, USA. This is a very nice Coleman US Army gasoline field cook stove. It appears to have not been used. I did not test it, partly for that reason, but all the control knobs/valves are moving freely. It comes with the field case. The bottom of the case is engraved with U. 1945, the stove is U. 1942 MOD C-A- 1945. The arms and the legs move and operate freely and as intended. There looks to be what may be a wrench of some sort attached to the stove around the control knob, I did not try to remove this. The instruction/ information label is present with wear at the top.
