Then, drill a small hole in the sheet metal duct, and install the included static pressure probe, and connect the tube from the probe to the static pressure switch. 24vac low voltage operation, use standard thermostat wire. Then its a simple matter of plugging in the UL approved 24vac 40va transformer, and wiring it to the the static pressure switch, and then connecting to the motorized damper that you have installed in the fresh air intake duct. Operation: Whenever the Range hood or Vent Hood above the cooking surface is switched on, the Static pressure switch will close its contacts and open the outside air damper-its that easy.
