This is the original GW-2104 Higher BTU pellet stove made by Wiseway in Oregon. This is NOT the Wiseway pellet stove that is currently being manufactured by US Stove Co. I still have 2 wiseway’s – one in my home and one in my shop. I love them both and they work flawlessly. Cleaning and operation is easy – easier than other electric pellet stoves and the heat they produce is amazing! The model for sale here is the UL listed and EPA certified GW-2014 high BTU output model. It is the same size as the 1949 Model with changes made to the lower burn chambers for a higher BTU output and better heat performance. This unit is new and complete. It has however been on display for a year or more. There are still plenty of dealers and parts available for this model as well. Uses Class “A” Chimney – any class “A” chimney is acceptable. When you’re sitting pretty next time a storm knocks out electric heat, you’ll be thankfull that American ingenuity is alive and well in the form of our gravity-fed stove. Installation: Have your stove installed by a certified chimney installer (see page 7 of the Installation and Operating Manual). Do not make changes to the draft recommendations during the installation of the chimney or stove. This is a wood stove that burns pellet fuel, if adequate draft is not accomplished this stove will not operate properly. If draft is compromised, it can drastically impede the performance of the stove. Long horizontal chimney runs will impede draft and cause poor performance of this stove. Basement installations and air tight houses will require an outside air source. Barometric draft control and chimney caps are recommended for best results.
