Installation must be completed by an ASE certified mechanic at a licensed facility. Diagnose and determine the original engine failure cause and perform appropriate repairs. Confirm the engine is correct for the application of installation. Clear all diagnostic codes from the vehicle prior to installing engine. Replace gaskets and seals (oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, rear main seal, front seal). Install new thermostat and gasket. Replace the timing belt or chain and all applicable accessories guides, tensioners, ect. Replace Water pump and seals. Follow original manufacture procedures for oil priming (disabling fuel/injection before attempting to start engine). Replace engine oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filters, coolant/antifreeze. Drain excess oil and coolant from exhaust system. If equipped with an engine oil cooler the radiator or external cooler must be replaced. Insure the cooling system is flushed and functioning properly. Engine warranties are limited to manufacturing defects in the following: engine block, cylinder heads, crankshaft, pistons, rods, bearings, oil pump, camshafts, valves and lifters. What is not covered. The engine you receive may or may not include some additional accessories or extra parts. No further testing has been performed. It is not fully tested. No guarantee it will retest the same. For the physical condition of the item please take a look at all 12 photos, and what is included in the sale. The background material is not included. Most of the items we sell are used and have signs of cosmetic wear, including scratches and other wear. All items were cleaned but may need further cleaning.
