There are no filtering components of a traditional crossover to alter the response of the speaker. This allows your amplifier to directly “play” the speaker in a way that can’t be matched when filtering components are placed in the signal path. The Visaton B-200 6 ohm 8 drivers were carefully selected for the Cumaru 8 for their frequency response, sonically pleasing character, and excellent electrical performance. Due to their 6 ohm nominal impedance, these speakers will allow your amplifier to provide a bit more of its character and power into the Cumaru 8 as compared to a standard 8 ohm system. You’ll hear and feel the difference. Sonically, the Cumaru 8 speakers have a sweetness and authority in the low frequencies and low mid range that make instruments and voices sing very naturally.
