Antique Sterno Model 4008 Copper And Brass Stove. This lot consists of an antique or early vintage Sterno 4008 copper and brass stove. It comes with a cover plate and flame control. It is labeled, “USE LARGE SIZE” and, “Sterno 4008″. On a riveted metal plate under the wood handle. It measures 7″ high by 9″ diameter at the top with plate attached and is very heavy. I left the original patina intact because some collectors prefer brass and copper items be left this way. It could be polished out like some examples I have seen online.
