Up for sale is my very own homemade Tipi Tent, styled after the Kifaru tents. I managed to burn 3 tick sized holes which I patched up with tenacious tape (pictured above). The overall quality is what youd expect from a beginner. Seams are not the straightest and the reinforced areas (point of tipi, tie out points, zipper stop) were mostly improvised. The velcro for the stove jack and rain cover that will be included is what I had trouble with the most so expect a bit of a mess. Still, the tent is 100% functional. Ive seam sealed the entire tent from the inside. You will also receive 12 Titanium stakes and a tent stuff sack. The diameter of the tent is about 140 inches and the height with the pole extended all the way is 7 feet, making it slightly bigger than the Kifaru 4 man. You can fit 3 people comfortably (as pictured) or 4 people if you include the entrance space. One of the main reasons for me creating this tent was to experiment using a thinner 1.1oz Olive Brown Silnylon to bring the weight and packable size down even more. I dont have the exact numbers but the tipi tent weighs only about a pound and a half without the pole and packs down to the size of your common commercial 10×10 silnylon tarp (I will be uploading pictures of that when I can). This is its true appeal and one of the main reasons why youd want to choose my version over the name brands. That and the fact that Im offering mine at a cheaper price.
