Exceptionally RARE, LARGE, and HEAVY cast iron toy stove from my personal collection…. “BUCK’S JUNIOR 2″ manufactured by Buck’s Stove & Range Company of St. 2 was the largest and most deluxe of this series of stoves…. Heavy and massive stove measures 22″ wide (from hearth shelf to water reservoir), 22 3/4″ tall to the tip of the back-piece/pipe cover, 13 3/4″ tall to the stovetop, with the stovetop measuring 18 1/2 wide” by 11 deep…. Excellent, complete, clean, collection-ready condition…. Nickel plating and black finish are either original or the result a tasteful restoration…. One of the two tabs on the water reservoir cover is missing (11th photo) and there is a small chip of iron missing off the top of one of the feet (last photo)… All doors open and close as they should…. What a cute example of the Quick Meal cook stove this salesman sample is. With all the features of the large stoves, this little stove has all the same workable features. Notice the six burners with their covers, the grades that will rotate to dump into the tin lined pan below, the drop down oven door, the open and shut vents and damper for ventilation on the stove. This is an actual workable stove that could have been used for a salesman sample and many times these were used by little girls to be used to learn and enjoy cooking just like their mother. This stove is still in its original condition. There is some wear, mainly the nickel is worn but the condition is still good. Notice that this stove even has the attached stove pipe attached to it. What a cute and heart warming piece this little stove is. You can enjoy all the feel of owning a stove like great grandma had, yet the size is much more manageable. THIS IS MY BOTTOM DOLLAR, GET IT NOW OR IT WILL BE GIVEN TO MY GREAT GRAND CHILDREN. THIS IS QUITE A LARGE PRICE CUT, SOMEONE WILL GRAB IT IF YOU DON’T! &&&&&&&THIS IS AN OLD SAMPLE, POT BELLIED STOVE INSIDE OF AN ENAMEL CASE! IT IS NOT JUST A VERY HEAVY TOY! Size 17 1/2″ high, X 10″ X 10″ X 10″ x 10 at the fancy little feet. The doors open, as well as the inside door to load the coal or wood. The cast iron inside door is 3″ wide x 2 3/4″. It may have a replacement door (not a ash drawer) under the inside door and possibly above as well, I think! The two front doors look damaged from hat? You decide, the photos will show them very well. I CANNOT find a picture of this little pot bellied stove anywhere, so I don’t know for sure what it’s suppose to look like! Cast in iron on the inside small door is: “HART CIRCULATING HOME HEATER” There’s no grill inside of the pot belly. Could not find any information on this company in Yahoo, but maybe you know? Even the small damper under the door, moves back and forth easily with your fingers. The enamel is made to look like dark wood, and it does show a lot of age. There are chips here and there, plus a broken (rib) spot on the top piece. I have to call this an “as found” because of the condition. Sitting on a shelf with the two doors open, it’s outstanding! So many toys are now listed as samples, but they are NOT! A real sample is obviously NOT A TOY! It is very heavy as well at over 19 pounds. And with SUPER packaging it will be even heavier when mailed. If you honestly want a true. But I will and have, when asked! That’s one way to think about it being a toy or a sample! Plus it is very well marked with the name! We SUPER pack everything we sale, for extra protection while in the Postal System. OF COURSE IT IS ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC & OLD!
