ANTIQUE JEWEL PARLOR STOVE GAS HEATER W/ JEWELS. Made BY GEORGE M CLARK & CO Chicago. A Very cool heater. Surface rust on most of it has light surface rust, Not rusted threw anywhere. Will clean up nice with a sand blasting, wire brushing or leave as is. Will light and puts out a lot of heat. Take care lighting and light quickly once gas is turned on. It is a simple design. No safety devises on this unit. The jewels are nice and the light from the fire dances and helps them to glow when burning. This is a none vented heater, so the fire gases are released into the living space, gases would include Carbon monoxide so any heated space would need ventilation. Would be neat to have with a light bulb in it and use only as a decorative element. Use only at your own risk. F&L Khan & Bros Antique Iron Parlor Stove 1895 Hamilton Ohio. Triple Effect #7 has 7 tubes. The inside tubes connect to a cast iron bladder and exhaust gas is routed around the outside tubes acting as a heat exchanger. It sucks cold are in and vents out the top for convection heat. All the while pulling heat out of the exhaust gases that would be lost up the chimney. This parlor stove would make a beautiful display adding Victorian charm to its surroundings. I do not know if it is operational but believe all its working parts are there. The left front foot has been repaired by professional welder. Willing to deliver within a 75 mile radius of Camden TN.
