TEXAS REPUBLIC IS SHOWN IN IT’S STOVE PIPE CONFIGURATION AND AT IT’S LARGEST EXTENT WITH LOREDO AND RIO DEL NORTE AND LOCATIONS FOR THE COMANCHE INDIANS. NORTH WEST TERRITORY COVERS WISCONSIN, MINNESOTA AND PORTIONS OF IOWA, MONTANA AND NORTHERN ILLINOIS. MICHIGAN TERRITORY IS SHOWN ODDLY SHAPED ALSO WITH INDIAN TRIBE LOCATIONS. AT PRESENT DAY WASHINGTON STATE (OREGON TERRITORY) THERE IS NO NORTHERN BOUNDARY BECAUSE OF THE DISPUTE WITH BRITAIN. AT PRESENT DAY OKLAHOMA ARE THE VARIOUS LARGE TRIBES INCLUDING OSAGE, CREEK AND CHOCTAW INDIANS AS WELL AS SOME OF THE SMALLER TRIBES. ALSO SHOWN IS THE BOUNDARY SETTLED BY THE TREATY OF 1819 AT THE SOUTHERN BOUNDARY OF OREGON TERRITORY. MOST OF THE WESTERN U. WAS UNSETTLED AND FOR THE MOST PART UNSURVEYED WITH ONLY NATIVE AMERICANS RESIDING IN THOSE AREAS. MAP HAS LISTS AT BOTTOM OF INDIAN NATIONS, LOCATIONS FOR THE YEARLY MEETING F FRIENDS, INDIAN CENSUS AND NUMBER OF INDIANS WHO HAVE BEEN PUSHED WEST. Antique top hat stove pipe hat box Victorian Edwardian original 1800 vg. Antique top hat and hat box. Hat box is good condition, not dented, not broken, a little dingy 3. Hat good, not perfect not dented, no holes, not torn, sweat band in loose 4. What look like spots on under side of brim are moth chews in the fabric 5. Outside silk plush to look like beaver 6. Silk lining in hat is not attached on side 8. Made in Boston, hat is solid, can be worn 9. Notice deep curl on brim of hat, 10. I have not cleaned either, right out of NH attic. Box 13 x 10.5 x 7.5 in. Hat 22.5 around inside edge, opening side to side 6.25, front to back 7.75 in. Tall, brim front and back 2 in. Scroll down for larger photos.
