Offered for sale is an unfired Coleman Model 527 Military Medical Sterilizer Stove/Burner. Also known as a “Dental” stove. These were undated, but manufactured just during World War II. This unit was likely produced late in the war and never issued for service. The manual is dated May, 1945. This burner is like other military burners of the era, but on a smaller scale. It is designed to run on gasoline with a single 2,500 BTU burner. This set is complete with all of the parts and spares. The parts are clean with no rust. The manual shows folding from being packed inside the box and some minor spotting. The original box shows some staining, but is in good condition. The burner has not been tested to preserve the unfired condition. As far as I can tell, it has never been fueled. It is not common to find a complete Model 527 set as the burner was often separated from the other parts. A complete unfired unit like this would be equally at home in either a Military or Coleman collection. Please ask any questions. ORGINAL condition, family says grandfather was in 10 the MOUNTAIN DIVISION, so that would explain the white paint camouflage. Very rare considering that the 10th was very small and elite division.
