This stove has been used in my house for five seasons without fail as our only heat source. It is used, not cosmetically perfect, but functions perfectly. My 1700 square foot house stayed between 68-84 degrees during the winter months in Ohio. The stove runs constantly from October-March and uses 3-4 ton depending on the year. No smoke with coal. It doesnt mold like wood so no allergies! Coal can still be burned when its wet and being stored outside is not an issue, its a rock.
