This is a Very Nice 200A, Slite Bail mark’s Front and Back and a bit a rub tru from shelf storage on bottom rim. This 200 came out of a collection, set on a shelf for 25 years, I bought it from the owner. Who Bought it New. I oiled the pump and added a bit of fuel and it fired right up, I ran it for 5 or 6 minutes, Purred like it should. The Center Band is As Nice As They Come, As is the Frame, All, Rust and Pit free, The globe is Very Nice. The Fount as Very Minor Wear on the bottom and 2 slight wear marks, From the Bail, Front, and Back. The Ventilator Has a small Blemish no bigger than a small hair on the Rim, The bail is nice rust pit free. The box has been wet from storage and not nice at all, But There are Instructions with New Mantels. I cleaned and shined this Lantern Up But the brass hasn’t been polished, It’s the way I bought it. A few nicks and minor paint lose around the Collar, light surface rust on the bottom and bottom rim. From the safe that is made to protect it. I see no rust pits and the fount looks solid. The vent has a chip under the nut and a 2 very minor chip’s on the bottom edge. The Frame is rust and pit free, Globe Nice, Collar Nice. Pumps up Pass’s air so should work fine. Antique Preway Cabin Stove. Antique Preway Cabin Stove – 1920’s Prentiss-Wabers Product Co.. Super nice but not mint. Repainted years ago and the cast iron grate in not broken. The red knob just spins, The white enamel knob doesn’t move, The black valve wheel moves, Gas gauge doen’t work, pump works, but the check valve is stuck closed, has a dent in the tank (photo). Both items have nickel plated brass founts. The lantern was made in the first half of 1949, dated A/49. The stove is a bit harder to tell the date as it has a “B” denoting the second half of a year and only the number “1” on the other side which means it could be 1941 or 1951. It may have a 4 or a 5 but is stamped so faint, it cannot be seen. The nickel plating on both appliances do show their age. Both have a couple of minor dents. The stove and lantern have been completely disassembled and all parts cleaned. The burner parts on the stove have not only been cleaned, but have been painted with VHT Brand 2000 degree paint and cured as per the VHT instructions. The 500 stove, also known as the “Speedmaster” has a new fuel cap gasket. The pump leather has been oiled. The stove has been fueled. It pumps up and holds pressure and works great! The Model 500 was one of the few Coleman stoves to have a name as well as a model number. The Model 228D burner frame has also been painted with high heat paint. Upon it’s reassembly, it received a new fuel cap gasket and generator. It was fueled and it pumps up and holds pressure. When the valve wheel is opened, there is the familiar hiss and gurgle of a working lantern. The 228D retains it’s original green letter rising sun logo Pyrex globe. Two classic Coleman items that are ready to go to work or maybe add to your vintage camping display or just look nice on a display shelf.
