It was converted to a light that has an orange glow light that flickers to give the appearance of a flame inside. It is super cool.

525 Kerosene Oil Heater with Tank. This is a good condition vintage oil heater. There is plenty of rusting to be seen on this item as well as some scratches, scuffs, and general paint wear. Overall, the physical condition is very good – it has never been dropped or smashed against anything. The heater body has never been repainted as long as we’ve owned this item. The oil heater itself is untested and we unfortunately have no means of testing it at this moment. We used this item for over a decade as farmhouse-style décor with an electric candle sitting on top of the tank inside. It lit up very nicely and looked great! The top vent slides easily open and closed, though it does show some rusting on it as you’ll see in our photos. In the last 4 photos of this listing showing the bottom of the tank, you’ll notice what appear to be some small holes in the seams. We have not tested liquid holding in the tank, but please be aware that these holes are there and may not hold oil safely. Please see all photos for details! Antique Union Cast Iron Kerosene Sad Iron Heater – Stove. Appears to be in very good condition. Nicer than many I’ve seen. Please take a look at the pictures and ask any questions. I left it just like I got it, dirty and un touched. It would detail nicely if desired. Measures 9 1/2″ tall x 7″ wide x 5 font to back.
