This listing is for a vintage KampKook 2 burner leaded or regular gasoline camp stove. The stove is does need to be disassembled and cleaned due to not being used for several years, but the valves are working properly, the pump is working, the fuel tank holds pressure and there is no damage. M-1950 military field stove. New old stock in the original box. Dated in the 1980’s with discoloration from age. The one-burner M1950 gasoline cooking stove is a cooking and heating unit for a group of from two to five men operating in an isolated or forward area where the use of heavier equipment is not practical. The stove is small, compact, and light, and will operate on either white or leaded gasoline. Best for: Ounce-counting adventurers bound for long trips (5+ days) in a variety of conditions and topography, including high, cold places. Also best for people concerned about the monetary and environmental costs of using canister stoves. The stove is stored in a 2 pc. Aluminum container that also functions as a small and large cooking pot. More than likely because of the age, seals and gaskets will need to be replaced. Sometimes these stoves have been known to leak at first and then as the seals soak in more liquid, they will ” seat-up” better. This can be looked up on Youtube.

(They were famous then, as they are now, as the ones who make Dardevle Lures). According to information I found on the internet this would have been manufactured between 1950 & 1957. Closed it measures 18″wide x 11-1/2″ x 5-1/2. Weight of the stove is 14 pounds. The box and stove say KampKook burns regular or Leaded gasoline. American Gas Machine Company. Division of Queensland Stove Works, Inc. Condition is: I have not attempted to fire it up. The valves on the tank turn properly and the pump on the right goes in and out as you would expect but because the leather needs to be oiled because it didn’t make pressure. The red valve in front probably had a bigger handle but it is still easy to turn without it. The box, as can be observed in the pictures, is missing one end and is generally aged, as can be expected.
