A very early and rare Martin spider skillet. Gate marks can be seen on the lid, as well as on the bottom of the skillet. Main condition issue is a crack on the lid, but this is inconsequential to the cooking ability. Some pitting can be seen as well. However, it sits level on it’s legs and demonstrates no wobble. Here is neat, what I believe to be a very early COLEMAN Handy Gas Plant Stove. It came from an Estate Sale a couple of months ago. I cannot find photos, or another like it, leading me to believe it is pretty early. Its Logo is visible from above, looking down into the burner. I could not find any others that had the Coleman Logo in this area. I can make out a little of its front label, I can read part of “Coleman” and part of what looks to be “model” but I cannot read a model number. The best I can tell, it all looks to be there, and in good general condition. Be sure to read my condition section for more specifics. This stove is the first M-1942 stove ever produced and is notable because of the fuel valve wheel that turns in the middle. After this early 1943 model, the stove switched to having a black bakelite turn valve on the side instead of the wheel in the middle. This stove was used at Fort Lewis and Camp Hale, where the WWII 10th Mountain Division Ski troops served. Very rare and nice for being 74 years old.
