Antique 1925 Cast Iron U. Estate find – don’t know a great deal about the box. Marked Danville Stove MFG on sides. Front marked Letters and Pull Down at top. Dated 1925 on bottom. On inside its has No 1 on front bottom and on sides its marked. Appears to be in good overall condition from age. Does show some wear as expected – has been repainted, shows a crack in metal on bottom, there is a piece on back that has been chipped off, shows dust and wear on inside (inside has not been repainted). Original lock has been changed with modern lock and key. Original lock is included with box but there is no key for it or bolts. This does NOT come with any type of mounting bracket or other hardware. The box measures approximately 20 inches tall, 13 inches wide, and 8 1/2 inches deep.
