This is a real deal genuine vintage 1970’s Fender Wide Range humbucker with the rare and highly sought after threaded CuNiFe pole magnets. I’m unsure which specific year it is because the serial number has worn off. As you can probably see in the pictures, the mount on the original baseplate on one end broke off so I replaced it with a brand new one (and including the original as well). After I replaced the base I also applied new electrical tape to cover the bobbin ends and the installation of a new and nicer long braided push back lead wire which replaced the old braided PVC wire that was cut short. The original reflector plate and bobbin base plate screws are used as well. The reissue cover it currently has is lightly (naturally) worn but will work well in a relic or newer build. If you’d prefer I can include an even nicer condition cover instead, just ask. And since the original coil is un-potted, it has that more open sound many still prefer to the new CuNiFe version that came out last year. The vintage CuNiFe magnets also look nicer in my opinion. It has the ideal reading around 10.6k and inductance of 4.79h and can be used in either the neck or bridge position. Mounting springs and screws included!
