Coleman Three-Burner campstove Model 420 packaged with Coleman Model 10 Stand. This is the Coleman Model 420 3-Burner Camp Stove, a somewhat rare unit that was only produced in 1941. A possible historic background on the stove suggests that in late 1941 the Coleman Company shut down production of the Model 420 while the Board of Directors wrestled with the question of whether they were going to support the Allied Forces or the Axis Powers who, to be fair, did have superior numbers and weaponry at the time. The Board ultimately decided to stick with the Allies and started production of their Model 520 Military Burner.
