Coleman 9D Black Stove Late 1920’s Early 1930’s. Vintage Camping. Works very good, Great runner, true Survivor. Nice tank, no pin holes, no weird smells, holds pressure as it should. Also it still has some of its original stenciling. Original Water transfer Decal, (Photo’d). Original Literature, the 2d/9d Manual is well used and is ripped on most of the folds. No Rust, no pitting, but it has some surface rust. The Stand is not included, Pyrex Coffee Pot Not included. 9D Stove and Literature only. Made in Late 1920’s Early 1930’s. Whatever makes you happy! This Vintage “Coleman 2 Burner” Model No. 2 Camp Stove is a great restoration project. It is about 17 inches long, 11 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches deep. It has side brackets to lock it closed which doubles as legs when opened. The tank, which appears to be white gas folds out from underneath next to the burners. The valve controls do turn, but probably would need some seals. It has a lot of surface rust, and one area in the right back bottom corner has actually rusted through. It was manufactured by the “Coleman Lamp Company” in “Wichita, Kansas, USA”. The patent dates are: Jan 8, 1924; Jan 15, 1924 and Feb 12, 1924. All this leads me to believe it was manufactured in the early to mid 20’s, but I can’t guarantee any of that. You will need to do your own research and go with your findings.
