For sale – a fully functional 1940s era General Electric stove. Both ovens have what I believe are original broiler pans. All 4 burners work, new drip pans, oven light works as shown. Range top light is missing, 32 bulb is available online but not in my stores so I haven’t seen that work. But if you need to do any repairs, the wiring schematic is still on the back! Chips in the enamel are shown on the bottom of the picture of the left hand burners. (2 very small black dots at the extreme bottom of the picture). Smaller pan drawer has some minor rust beginning. Side outlets work, I have not tried the time delay so I can’t vouch for that. I will even throw in the immaculate roasting pan (I think that’s what it is LOL) with adjustable sides that was in the pantry. We are pleased to offer for your consideration a previously owned and gently used VINTAGE / ANTIQUE COLEMAN SPORTMASTER 500A STOVE, dated January 1957, with its original cardboard box. Cosmetically the tank is in very good condition with no rust, no dents, no dings, no missing paint except a little on the very bottom rim. The metal grate does show some minor corrosion and paint loss to be expected – but evidently not used very much. We tested this stove and it worked great. We added a small amount of fuel in the tank. We pumped up compression, turned the knob and lit it. Within a few seconds the generator was doing its job with a nice blue flame. We left it burn on low for one hour without repumping. After one hour, we turned it off and drained the tank. The original box is intact but in rough condition from storage all these years. We don’t have any set time limit on combining wins, but you must let us know after your first win in order to prevent any misunderstandings.
