Vintage Perfection No. 525 Kerosene Oil Heater with Tank

525 Kerosene Oil Heater with Tank. This is a good condition vintage oil heater. There is plenty of rusting to be seen on this item as well as some scratches, scuffs, and general paint wear. Overall, the physical condition is very good – it has never been dropped or smashed against anything. The heater body has never been repainted as long as we’ve owned this item. The oil heater itself is untested and we unfortunately have no means of testing it at this moment. We used this item for over a decade as farmhouse-style décor with an electric candle sitting on top of the tank inside. It lit up very nicely and looked great! The top vent slides easily open and closed, though it does show some rusting on it as you’ll see in our photos. In the last 4 photos of this listing showing the bottom of the tank, you’ll notice what appear to be some small holes in the seams. We have not tested liquid holding in the tank, but please be aware that these holes are there and may not hold oil safely. Please see all photos for details! Please note – These have the two L&R OUTSIDE 1/4 ROUNDED CORNERS on each side. These are original vintage Wedgewood new chromed stove tops. Quite often you’ll find these are too badly rusted to withstand the chroming process – these tops are in very nice condition, the metal integrity is solid. A very rare find. MEASUREMENTS: Length 20.5″ / Width 12-1/4″ / GRATE INSET: Length 16-7/8″ / Width 8-1/8″. (new chromed Wedgewood griddles and the outer surrounding frames are also available). Here we have a nice used Vintage United States Stove Co. Perfection Kerosene Heater Model US89-P. It measures 24″ tall, 12″ at foot base, bottom base diameter is 13. Previous owner from an estate sale stated he painted it. I see in places where the black paint ran. Bladder looks to be in pretty good shape. This item shows signs of use and age, as found, used, signs of scuffs, scratches, rust, paint chipped, could be a small dent. Please see photos to best determine overall condition.
