Our Firebox thickness is 3/8″ plate steel; not 1/4″ or less. Our Water Jackets are 10 gauge, twice as thick as others and the bottom is 3/16. We Insulate our furnaces Front, Back and Bottom with 6 inches of insulation and the Top with 12 inches, then we add another layer of protective insulation barrier to insure the least amount of heat loss. We have a Separate door for the most efficient and easiest ash removal. No need to let the fire burn down to remove the ashes! I replaced the factory speakers in my father’s Ampex Tape/Radio system in’69/’70 to give him better fidelity when he listened to NPR every morning. They were in gentle usage for 30 years, when he gave the speakers to me when they remodeled. They have been in storage in my music room since. Our home is non-smoking. I’m offering replacement VW Vanagon Westfalia stove and refrigerator LP gas lines. These are pre-bent, and designed in two sections so you can use the existing floor grommets. If your at the point where you need these and don’t know how to make them, this is your only option for a product similar to OEM. They don’t make them anymore of course, good luck finding used ones or you can make them yourself. It’s not hard, but I’ve made it pretty easy. All you need to do is turn a wrench. I added a bonus and installed a “T” that will hook up a camp stove green bottle for an emergency, which I have since used in mine and it worked great for the stove and fridge running at the same time. I’ll include those fittings as well, but not the bottle regulator line unless you want to pay extra. Let me know if your interested. I make them pre-bent to hook straight up to your existing tank and appliances. They come with all the parts seen in the photos: 3/8 “M” (thicker) soft copper lines, flange nuts, compression “T” with cap in the fridge line and a coupler in the stove line. Putting the “T” in the fridge line makes it easier to bolt up the flange nut while the fridge is in place. Both lines will have a connection inside the cabinet (stove line will be a coupler, fridge line is the “T” for the emergency tank) so you can feed the new line thru the grommets in the floor of the van. Although I’ve replaced the ones in my own’86 Westy, the photos are from a recent replacement done locally designed to be more OEM. The solid stove line in the photo is because I flanged mine in place. Yours will come with a coupler that you will tighten one side. I will tighten all the other connections and pressure test them.
