It combines the creature comforts of a traditional box stove with the compact ultralight features of a cylinder stove. The shelter was set up and seem sealed according to Kifarus instructions. It was never used in the field. The stove has never been used and is still in original brand new condition. The shelter, annex and peg and pole kit fits into the included Kifaru Pullout. The paratarp weighs 15oz, the annex is 5oz, the entire setup in the pull out is 2lb 10oz and the stove w/ platform and bag is 2lb 11oz. You could easily ditch the poles and use sticks or trekking poles. Great setup for ultralight four season camping and hunting. Ive used the sawtooth for ten years now and have not had one single issue. Ultralight shelter for one person and gear or two folks in emergency. Small and light enough to always toss into a daypack for bombproof bivy-ing. The basic shelter is open at the front for 3 season use. Best uses: 1 person and gear or emergency bivvy for 2. Up for sale is my very own homemade Tipi Tent, styled after the Kifaru tents. I managed to burn 3 tick sized holes which I patched up with tenacious tape (pictured above). The overall quality is what youd expect from a beginner. Seams are not the straightest and the reinforced areas (point of tipi, tie out points, zipper stop) were mostly improvised. The velcro for the stove jack and rain cover that will be included is what I had trouble with the most so expect a bit of a mess. Still, the tent is 100% functional. Ive seam sealed the entire tent from the inside. You will also receive 12 Titanium stakes and a tent stuff sack. The diameter of the tent is about 140 inches and the height with the pole extended all the way is 7 feet, making it slightly bigger than the Kifaru 4 man. You can fit 3 people comfortably (as pictured) or 4 people if you include the entrance space. One of the main reasons for me creating this tent was to experiment using a thinner 1.1oz Olive Brown Silnylon to bring the weight and packable size down even more. I dont have the exact numbers but the tipi tent weighs only about a pound and a half without the pole and packs down to the size of your common commercial 10×10 silnylon tarp (I will be uploading pictures of that when I can). This is its true appeal and one of the main reasons why youd want to choose my version over the name brands. That and the fact that Im offering mine at a cheaper price.
