Vintage 1960 Atomic Age Roper Gas Stove with Heater For Restoration 35 1954004
This vintage Roper gas stove from 1960 has atomic age styling. Has been used for 60 years and needs a major restoration. The pilot light in the oven lights but the oven does not light when the gas is turned on. One of the burners on the top needs parts. The burners don’t come on automatically but need to be lit with a match. It needs a good cleaning, too. The oven door needs a new spring. The electric cord has not been plugged in for a long time, so I don’t know if the clock and light above the oven work. There is a crack in the glass in front of the clock. But I think this model is rare because I have not seen styling like this listed. So it may be worth the restoration for someone trying to achieve a 1960’s era look. The heater part of this stove was never used because the stove was installed right next to the kitchen counter. It needs at least an 18 inch clearance. The heater is rated on the faceplate as 37500 BTU. The oven is rated at 23000 BTU. The width is 35 inches, and it is 25 inches deep. The overall height is 46 inches. The height to the cook top is 36 inches. I cannot help with the lifting, so you will need to bring enough people to carry this out. Barr & Stroud Navigational Range Finder Type FT37 in Boxed – Restoration. This Barr & Stroud Navigational Range Finder Type F. 37 has been held in its case and displayed on a wall without cover for a number of years as a decorative piece. The rangefinder, essentially a brass tube measuring approx long, sits in a case 47.5 inches long 27.5 inches wide and 18 cm deep. As well as the rangefinder and box, the case contains a support used in the belt mounting of the range finder, a battery and leads, (that are probably beyond repair), as well as a leather pouch. There is also a copy of the Barr & Stroud Phamplet no. 948a, which is a little battered and missing the cover, but other than this I have no real idea on the condition. This is a super piece of vintage equipment that was probably made between the wars. A Real Restoration Challenge for the enthusiast. Vintage 1948 Nash-Kelvinator Stove Model EF-9 for Restoration
If you are handy at fixing things up and enjoy the beauty of antique vintage stoves, this stove could be restored to the classic well made beautiful appliance it was when new. The large oven and cook top worked the last time it was plugged in about 15 years ago, not sure about the smaller warming oven. The right oven door needs a new spring attached. A few porcelain nicks. Overall, for a 70 year old stove, it is in very nice condition. The item “Vintage 1948 Nash-Kelvinator Stove Model EF-9 for Restoration” is in sale since Monday, November 5, 2018. This item is in the category “Antiques\Other Antiques”. The seller is “bobbygreenlt” and is located in Milton, Pennsylvania. This item can’t be shipped, the buyer must pick up the item.
